DJ Agreement with Day Zero Music
Day Zero Music is a licensed web radio. On Day Zero Music, DJs have the opportunity to broadcast their live sets around the world for free and also receive tips from listeners. DJs agree to the following agreements when they apply to Day Zero Music and also stream their live sets. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

License and Copyright
Day Zero Music has an official web radio license and is obliged to ensure compliance with the license terms. In order to comply with these regulations, every DJ must adhere to the following regulations without exception:
- DJs guarantee to only stream music that they acquired legally.
- DJs are required to submit a list of the music (title and artist) they used in their set to Day Zero Music immediately after their sets. Day Zero Music provides a separate online form for DJs for this purpose.
- DJs are also not allowed to stream commercials in their sets.
- For licensing reasons, DJs are not allowed to fulfill listeners’ music requests.
Day Zero Music reserves the right to take legal action if the agreement is not adhered to and to demand compensation from DJs in the amount of the damage caused.
General duties of a DJ
Every DJ undertakes to comply with the legal regulations (licensing law, copyright, etc.) and to hold Day Zero Music harmless. The duties of a DJ include, but are not limited to:
- Streams provided by Day Zero Music may only be used during broadcast times on Day Zero Music.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your DJ account credentials and ensuring that they are not shared with unauthorized individuals.
- DJ are obliged to mix live. Playing recordings is not permitted.
- During their sets on Day Zero Music, DJs are obliged to broadcast their performance exclusively on Day Zero Music. Simultaneous streaming on other sources is not permitted during set times on Day Zero Music without the consent of Day Zero Music. The only exception is if the DJ has an inworld set in Second Life at the same time.
- DJs are obliged to adhere to their announced set times on Day Zero Music. If an announced set cannot be kept, the DJ is obliged to inform Day Zero Music in good time, at least 2 hours before the start of the set.
- DJs must treat listeners in the live chat or via stream in a friendly and respectful manner. If listeners display abusive behavior in the chat, the DJ has the option of reporting this behavior to Day Zero Music, using the listener's username. Day Zero Music reserves the right to exclude these listeners from the chat.
Booked Sets
Sets booked by DJs can be cancelled by Day Zero Music at any time if a DJ does not adhere to the guidelines set out here or if the listener numbers are significantly lower than other DJs. We understand that it takes time for a DJ to reach certain listener numbers. Therefore, long time periods are used to compare listener numbers.
Communication
Day Zero Music runs its own Discord server with special channels for DJs to communicate with us. Since all communication of all team members (management, support, DJs, ...) takes place via Discord, it is mandatory for DJs to have a Discord account. DJs also have the option to book or cancel sets there. There are also separate channels for important announcements and events.
Availability
Day Zero Music strives to keep its service available around the clock, but does not guarantee permanent (24/7) availability of its services. Day Zero Music reserves the right to take the website and the streaming service offline at any time and without prior notice (e.g. for maintenance purposes).
Payments (Tips)
Listeners have the opportunity to tip our DJs during their live performance. All payments are processed through PayPal's secure payment service directly between the listener and the DJ. The DJ must have an active PayPal account. If payment is successful, the amount goes directly to the DJs PayPal account. Day Zero Music has no influence on payment processes.
PayPal reserves the right to charge fees for transactions. More information can be found on the PayPal website. Day Zero Music itself never charges any fees for transactions, as the payment process takes place directly between the listener and the DJs.

Day Zero Music assumes no liability for the availability and functionality of the PayPal payment service.
Privacy Policies
Day Zero Music reserves the right to publish the data provided by the DJ for advertising purposes, both on its own and other websites. However, this data only contains general information about the DJs themselves and their set times on Day Zero Music. The DJs personal data is not affected by this and will not be published under any circumstances.

Day Zero reserves the right to change this agreement at any time and without prior notice.
